It is important to choose the size best suited to the volume of food product that you want to store. The more food inside a container, the less oxygen there will be and the better it is conserved. In addition, you can find detailed information on the capacity in litres of all of our products in our catalogue and on our website.

Araven meets all migration regulations: Commission Directives 2005/79/EC, 2007/19/EC and 2008/39/EC and Regulation (EU) No 10/2011.Migration regulations establish the migration limits of substances in plastic materials, and they apply to plastics that come into contact with food products.

All of our products are dishwasher-safe. We recommend removing leftover food from the sides and base of the container with kitchen roll before washing. To remove sauce, pre-wash the container by filling it with warm water and soap, close the lid and shake it for a few seconds, and then empty the water and put it in the dishwasher.

We recommend removing all labels and items from inside (such as colour tags) and cleaning the product before use.

Polycarbonate (PC) is the only plastic material that contains BPA. All Araven products made using this material meet the limits established by European health authorities. Products across all our ranges are also available in alternative, BPA-free materials.

The waste plastic generated in our factories is 100% recycled and turned into new cleaning products without losing any of its properties, which helps us keep our environmental impact to a minimum.

The double lip on the lid of Araven containers makes them completely airtight, allowing you to store food better and for longer. The lid is made using a highly flexible material that easily adapts to the shape of the base. So, as long as it is properly shut, there is no risk of the contents leaking.

ARAVEN products are manufactured with:

✅100% recyclable materials
✅We use a single material for each component and/or product, and additionally,
✅Our products have easily separable components to facilitate recycling or valorization

Our products are classified as dense plastic waste, not packaging waste, so you should NOT deposit them in the packaging recycling container (yellow). To turn them into recycled material and give them a second life, they should be deposited in a designated collection point. ARAVEN also recommends extending the use of our products for as long as possible. Before disposing of any product, we encourage users to ask themselves the following questions: Can we give ARAVEN product a second life? Can we extend its useful life?

Often, we tend to dispose of products quickly due to aesthetic deterioration, but our advice is that if the product is not broken or contaminated, consider that it might still be used for alternative purposes, both inside and outside the kitchen.Every moment the product stays with you means a reduction in waste generation, lower resource demand, and consequently, a smaller environmental impact on the planet. At ARAVEN, we contribute as well! Some of our products, such as recycled rubbish bins, are manufactured by reusing plastic waste generated from our productions. You can find more information in our catalog about the materials we use in our products and how to identify them. And of course, if you have any ideas for reuse and want to help us make the Circular Economy a reality, don't hesitate to send us any suggestions, ideas, or questions to this email address:sostenibilidad@aravengroup.com

All the plastic products can be used in a microwave oven, although in the case of food containers, they should be left open so that the steam accumulating inside does not cause the lid to come off.

All the plastic products can be washed in the dishwasher, although bear in mind that as a result of washing and items rubbing together, surface scratches may occur, affecting their appearance.
