CFS Brands acquires Araven

  • The CEO of CFS Brands, Trent Freiberg, stresses that this acquisition “improves the value we offer to our customer, with a greater variety of innovative, high-quality products”.

 

  • The new owner is based in Oklahoma, United States, and is the parent company of 14 brands specialising in food service, healthcare and hygiene. Araven will continue to operate as an independent entity within the company.

 

(Tuesday, 30 July 2024).- The US company CFS Brands has acquired Araven, the brand specialising in products for the hospitality sector, with its broad portfolio of exclusive solutions for different storage, handling, service, display and cleaning needs, that bring efficiency and safety to food handling and guarantee the highest food quality. Araven has its headquarters and main distribution hub in Zaragoza.

Trent Freiberg, CEO of CFS Brands, commented, “While their products are sold around the globe, Araven is a clear leader in the European foodservice market and has established an incredible reputation within the hospitality industry and with culinary professionals.  The acquisition of Araven Hospitality-Foodservice further enhances our unique value to our customers by providing the largest breadth and depth of high quality and innovative products.  We are excited to work with the leadership team at Araven, and we welcome all Araven employees to CFS Brands.”

Araven will operate as stand-alone entity within CFS Brands. Both customers and suppliers should continue to interact with CFS and Araven as they have in the past.
